Kseniia’s hand sanding a cement sculpture before pigment

Six natural tones, from the lightest to charcoal.

Kseniia, artist and founder of DN.KA studio

Every piece starts with a base and a form, and goes through many layers, corrections, sanding and polishing until it is ready.

I like imperfect forms, and pieces you can look at for a long time and still find something new. The ones that feel like a rare find. A machine prints thousands of identical copies; a person makes just one, with their own decisions, corrections and time. All of that stays inside the piece, and you can tell. It is the story behind it.

My palette is six natural tones that sit with an interior instead of competing with it. Every piece is coloured with dry pigment, which settles into the texture unevenly as it dries: deeper in some places, lighter in others, as in nature. No flat colours, only tones with depth. From the lightest to terracotta and charcoal, for every interior and every taste.

The collection is just below. If you need another size, another tone or another form, tell me and we’ll try it.
